In January 2025, Maya Okafor was four coffees deep, editing a pitch deck in a cabin with no Wi-Fi, and her hands were shaking hard enough to spill her fifth. Her neighbour handed her a thermos of chaga tea instead.

Does it taste like mushrooms?
Nope. It tastes like a smooth medium roast with a faint cocoa finish. The mushrooms are extracts, not chunks of portobello in your mug.
How much caffeine is in it?
About 55mg per cup — roughly half a regular drip coffee. Enough to get going, not enough to vibrate.
Is it instant or ground?
